“A weak bird monster that is a variant of the Harpy race. Modest and quiet, their physical abilities are weaker compared to the average Harpy. Since their bodies are small, however, they have excellent manoeuvrability.
She is a monster who announces the arrival of dawn, and her Sparrow Dance has the effect of waking people from their slumber. The Sparrow Girl herself is very meticulous, and does not go to sleep accidentally.
Reproduction is done by politely asking a human male to mate with them. However, they have been known to attack and force men to mate with them if they step into their territory. Although they are a quiet species, it is unwise to disturb them.”
- Attack – One Foe, Normal Attack

- Sparrow Foot Job – One Foe (Luka), Pleasure Attribute
Her high agility means she’s likely to attack before you can, her Evasion chance means she’s likely to evade your attacks, and they appear in groups. As nuisance. Her damage is lower than any of the other monsters in the area, but Flap uses the wind element, so no slimes.
Sparrow Girl is weak to Holy damage, but without grinding only Ilias has access to Holy skills at this stage of the game. She is vulnerable to all status except Confusion, which magicians like Rami can use. You want to use skills which hit automatically to counter her Evasion. So Apoptosis like Nuruko, Jaide and Shesta help here. As does Ilias. Holy spells hit automatically. Take into account that Makina/Holy skills do a lot of damage, and Sparrow Girl relies on Evasion to stay alive, and she’s a very dead Sparrow Girl.
“You lost to a Sparrow Girl… What are you, a power line to perch on? Oops… I guess you wouldn’t know what that is. Well, then a roof. The Sparrow Girl is a very weak monster. There’s nothing particularly dangerous about her. However, her avoidance is rather high. A high accuracy bow, or magic would be advisable. Now go, oh brave Luka. Sparrows are harmful animals who eat crops, so make them extinct.”
