Paradox

Dog Girl, or Pochi as a companion, is a monster in the first part of Monster Girl Quest: Paradox.

Monsterpedia Entry

“A beast-type monster that strongly expresses human characteristics, also known as a beastman. Though she is similar to a human, her strength and agility when using fang and claw attacks cannot be matched by ordinary people. She is mild-mannered and well acquainted with humans. Many have settled in towns, and they are quite fond of human society.

There have been rare cases where they have attacked humans to steal from them, or forced themselves upon men to mate with them. Mating done while they’re in heat is particularly intense, as they instinctively shake their waists to wring out semen. However, there have been no instances of them taking lives. Basically, she is a friendly and peaceful monster.”

Attacks

  • Blinding Attack – One Foe, Normal Attack, Blind 25%
  • Scratch – One Foe
  • Bite – One Foe
  • Lick (M) – One Foe (Luka), Pleasure Attribute
  • Lick (F) – One Foe, Pleasure Attribute

Strategy

She has a few high damaging physical attacks, but she shouldn’t be a problem. But since they appear in groups a lot of the time, they will deal a lot of damage. But, her defence is a mere five, so she’s weak to physical attacks. However, her Blinding Attack can inflict Blind. Blind reduces your physical attack hit rate until the end of combat, but can be cured with Eye Drops.

She is weak to Pleasure because she’s a beast so that Lime can help with that.

Evaluation

“Oh, Seriously? You were defeated by a mere dog? Heroes aren’t supposed to be lower than dogs. The Dog Girl is an animal-type monster, so her attack and agility are quite high. If you encounter a pack of them, you will most probably take quite some damage. However, her defence is low, so attacking will work wonders on her. She’s also weak to pleasure, so she’s pretty easy to defeat. Animal-type monsters are all weak to pleasure… It does not only apply to this mangy cur, so please don’t forget. Now go, oh brave less-than-a-dog Luka. I would like you to at least be able to win against a dog.”
